Anna Caroline Sparks, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, at the age of 94, on January 26, 2026, in Queen City, Missouri. Born on March 9, 1931, in Lockridge, Iowa, Anna lived a life filled with love, dedication, and generosity.

Anna's legacy took root in her deep commitment to family and her career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her nurturing spirit allowed her to touch the lives of many, whether she was providing compassionate care to her patients or working tirelessly alongside her husband on their farm. Together, the couple forged a partnership that began in their shared workplace and blossomed into a loving marriage of 52 years on February 16, 1963.

With a personality that radiated warmth, Anna was always ready to help anyone in need. Her fierce love for her family was matched only by her affection for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memories made in the kitchen, where she taught her grandkids the joys of baking and cooking, will forever be cherished. The simple pleasure of watching "Little House on the Prairie" together became a tradition, instilling values and lessons that will carry on through generations.

Anna had myriad hobbies and interests that defined her life. She found joy in sewing, baking, and cooking, pouring her heart into each dish with love. Her passion for gardening, particularly her beloved rose bushes, brought beauty not only to her surroundings but also to the lives of those who enjoyed her handiwork.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Beth (Marty) Collis, Michael (Patti) Sparks, and Donald Sparks Jr. That love is reflected in the lives of her grandchildren: Shawn Sparks, Joshua Sparks, Heather (Caleb) Coffman, Alicia Shoop, Christina Larson, and Danielle Collis, along with her fiancé, Kenny Shaw. In addition, she leaves behind twenty-five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Anna is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Donald; her parents, Semon and Edith Youngman; two brothers, Walter and William Youngman; her sister-in-law, Jean Youngman; and her great-grandson, Shane Ridinger. Each of these loved ones will surely welcome her with open arms.

Anna Caroline Sparks will be remembered for her unwavering love, her generous spirit, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to honor her memory at Dooley Funeral Home in Queen City, MO. Visitation will take place on January 31, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 PM.

As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Anna not with sadness but with gratitude for the beautiful moments she gifted to us all.
