Anna L. Stinner, R.N., 88 of Bethlehem, formerly of Pottsville died peacefully Monday, December 9, at Holy Family Senior Living, Bethlehem.
She was born June 5, 1936 in Pottsville a daughter of the late Frank and Freda Franck Rehman.
She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing.
Prior to retiring she was a nurse at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and a lunch aid at the former Mount Hope School and the John S. Clarke Elementary Center, Pottsville.
Anna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville where she was a Sunday School teacher for 50 years, a member of Kitchen Committee, Social Ministry and Circle 5. She was also member of PSERS and was judge of elections.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stinner, Jr. in 1994.
Surviving are her son, Rev. Franklin S. Stinner, Sr. and his wife Debi, Nazareth; a daughter, Kathy Strohecker and her husband Gene, Herndon; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Penglase and Dr. F. Scott Stinner, Jr.
Funeral Service will be held Monday December 30th at 11AM from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Williamstown Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Anna be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901.
