Anna Marie Whitt

Anna Marie Davis Whitt, age 83, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at her residence.
Born January 3, 1942, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harlan Luther Davis and Clara Brewster Davis.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Hubert, Harold, Thomas, Robert and Logan Davis, and four sisters, Opal Easton, Gloria Lewis, and twin sisters who passed at birth.
Her husband, David Whitt, whom she married December 5, 1970, passed away July 12, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter, Carrie Christine (Cricket) Mullins Stacy and her husband Tom of Morehead, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Brandon Stacy and Coty Stacy; three Great grandchildren, Gauge Stacy, Colton Stacy, and Raelynn Norman; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends
Marie was a former Morehead State University employee and later transitioned to the Life Care Center where she worked more than 30 years as an aide. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, drawing, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to work with the young and elderly and will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched on her earthly journey.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Senior Pastor Joe Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David (Tom) Stacy, Brandon Stacy, Coty Stacy, Bob Stacy, Ed Stacy, and Doug Horton.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
