Anna Mae Wickey, 85, of
Leonidas, Michigan, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her home.
Anna Mae was born on November 19, 1940, to Rudolph and Esther Steury in Ft. Wayne Indiana. She married her beloved, Jacob R. Wickey, on January 9, 1958. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. Anna Mae was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are her dear children, Rosa (Andy) Schwartz, Daniel (Rosie) Wickey, Barbara (Jacob) Brandenberger, Rudy (Laura) Wickey, David (Rosalie) Wickey, Jacob (Marie) Wickey, Amos (Clara) Wickey, Esther (Ben) Schwartz, Susannah (Daniel) Yoder, Katie (Sherman) Yoder, Dena (Mahlon) Bontrager, Enos (Virgina) Wickey, Anna Mae (Merlin) Zehr, 84 grandchildren, 78, great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, dear sister and brother, Barbara Rasbaugh, Rudy (Rosa) Steury; sister-in-law, Esther (Menno) Steury,
She was fond of her Wickey family, Dave and Becky Girod, Joe and Lizzie Schwartz, Enos and Adeline Schmidt, Effie Mae and Margaret Wickey, and many nieces, nephews, and stepbrothers and sisters.
Preceding Anna Mae in death are her loving husband of 59 years, Jacob R. Wickey, a loving son, Joseph, 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Jeremiah, Lydia, Leah, and Maria, and 4 great grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Rebecca and Elijah.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Ben Schwartz residence, 30695 King Road,
Leonidas, MI, 49066. A second visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, all day starting at 11:00 A.M. and all day Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Jacob Wickey residence, 2091 Turner Road,
Flemingsburg, KY, 41041. A funeral service will take place at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, also at the Jacob Wickey residence. Interment will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in
Flemingsburg, KY. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City, MI and Boone-Nickell Funeral Home of
Flemingsburg, KY.
