Anna Marie Williams, 53, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 22, 2023, with her loving husband by her side.
Anna was born on January 16, 1970, in Ohio to Charles and Lucille Rice and lived in Effingham County for a short time. She retired from the United States Army after serving as a Motor Sergeant for many years. Anne was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all her loving family members and friends.
Survivors include: her husband, Tawaun Williams; daughter, TaAwna Williams; parents, Charles and Lucille Rice; stepchildren, CoTawna Williams and Alawna Bibbs; sisters, Adaine Hillman, Della Rice, and Yolanda Rice; father-in-law, Daryl E. Williams; mother-in-law, Vicky L. Jackson; sisters-in-law, Brittany Jackson, Sonya Williams, and Jacinda Marshelle Jackson; brothers-in-law, Irvin Jackson, Jermaine Way, and Dwight Hillman; uncle, James W. Rice; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Rice, Joshua Way, and Cheyanne Way; and many cousins, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 10:30am – 12pm with interment to follow with military honors at 2pm in Beaufort National Cemetery.
