Anna B. Wimberly

1946 - 2024

Anna B. Wimberly, 77, of Irwin, died Thursday, July 25, 2024, in St. Anne Home. She was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Greensburg, and spent the majority of her life residing there. She is a daughter of the late John R. and Philomena I. DelDuca Sembiante. Anna had a great love for Jesus and her faith was the focal point of her everyday life. She was a one-of-a-kind loving and caring mother and grandmother. When she was a young adult she traveled to Israel and was baptized in the Jordan River. She led a life exemplary to the embodiment and representation of Agape love and she gave that same love, light and hope to everyone that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and hosting family gatherings, birthdays etc. She also ensured her children and grandchildren took notice of the beauty and wonder of nature and especially enjoyed going for walks at the lake hand in hand with her companion Frank. She was preceded in death by her father, John 'Jack' Sembiante; mother, Philomena 'Minnie' DelDuca Sembiante; two brothers, John and A.J. Sembiante; and two sisters, Philomena Grohal and Bernadette Rowe. She is survived by her three children, Kara Padilla (Andrew), James John Teet (Alina), all of Naples, FL, and Michael T. Wimberly of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Matteo, Mila and Bella Padilla and Simona and Bianca Teet; brother, Anthony Sembiante of Decatur, IL; two sisters, Marie Heasley (Sam) of Irwin, and Mary Wilson (Craig) of Mars; her longtime loving and devoted companion, Frank Dawson and family of Irwin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
