Annalyne Louise Hall Barnett, age 91, of Kennesaw, GA passed away peacefully with her family on Friday, September 26, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 2 at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Matt Petty Officiating. The family will received friends beginning at 1:30 before the service. Interment will be at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Woodruff, SC on Friday, October 3 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mrs. Barnett was a graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She taught Home Economics at Woodruff High School until the birth of her first child. She was the loving wife to , B. Lewis Barnett, Jr., MD, her husband of 56 years, She was the most extraordinary mother to 2 children, Lewis III and Kristen. She was devoted to her family, which extended to her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She led women’s Bible Studies with passion for God’s Word with Precept Ministries. She compassionately hosted countless visitors in her home treating them as she would her own family. She always lived focused on others with generosity and love, meeting them at their point of need. She was an active member in the Joy Class at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her daughter, Kristen Dodgen and son-in-law Jim Dodgen; her daughter-in-law, Rebekah Barnett; her grandchildren Anna & Jonathan Henslee, Emily & Nick Wright, Will & Lindsay Dodgen, Ben & Natalie Dodgen, and Lizzie Barnett; her 5 great grandchildren Emma & Wade Henslee, Whit & Lainey Wright, Cooper Dodgen; her sister Jane Barfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady & Vergie Hall, her husband, Lewis Barnett, Jr. and her son, Lewis Barnett III.
