Judith Ann Brown, age 82, passed away on November 28, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens at in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son Craig Brown in 1971.
Judith was a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County. She retired after 32 years from SunTrust as a Vice President of Employee Relations. She was a long-time member of Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and was a current member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Marietta. She taught Sunday school for over 40 years and was a member of the Sweet Spirit Singers for over 20 years. She has been a part of her Girl Scout Troop since the 3rd grade, and they have remained close friends. She especially loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her husband James M. (Jim) Brown of Dallas, GA; two sons: Cary (Thandi) Brown of Little Rock, AR and Clay (Stacey) Brown of Powder Springs, GA; four grandchildren: Carson, Hunter, Griffin and Paxton Brown; two brothers: Douglas (Helen) Clay of Dallas, GA and Jimmy (Rose) Clay of Acworth, GA; two sisters-in-law: Joan (Tom) Rushing of Snellville, GA and Anita (Wade) May of Anderson, SC and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
