Anne Bair Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funeral Alternatives Group - Augusta on Jul. 23, 2025.
Date of Death: July 19, 2025
Date of Birth: February 17, 1950
We are sad to announce Anne Bair, 75, of Augusta Maine, passed away on July 19, 2025.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Delores "DeeDee" Bolinger, her brother, Tom Bolinger and Sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Tanner. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Bair, her two brothers, Jim and Floyd Bolinger, her two sons, David and Ronnie Gant and daughters-in-law Crystal and Angela, respectively. She adored her grandchildren, Nicolas, Jonathon, Lucas, Troy, Gabrielle and Isabella, along with the many others that she considered her "adopted children/grandchildren" and loved as much as her own. She is also survived by her friend and companion "Princess Gracie". They loved each other dearly.
Born in Parkersburg West Virgina, and becoming a military spouse, she loved to travel. Having lived in and traveled throughout Germany, she also visited Spain, France and the Netherlands during her stay there. Her adventures here in Maine were many and she never shied away from a trip or adventure here in the US with her friends and family.
She had many jobs throughout the years, from cook to receptionist, to school administrator at the Dirigere Christian Academy, which she loved, always working to help and touching many lives along the way. She was dedicated to her work and the people that she worked with.
She loved meeting new people and making new friends who quickly became a part of her family, welcoming them into her heart and home with graciousness. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Her celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1pm at The First United Pentecostal Church, Wilson St. Augusta, Me 04330
