Anne N. Batten

Anne N. Batten, age 91, of Jonesboro, passed away on December 18, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1934 in Atlanta to the late, Otis and Violet Nelms. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis and 13 siblings. She is survived by her children, Daniel C. (Susan) Batten of McDonough, Dennis L. (Janet) of Senoia, Martha B. (Lee) Mathes of Jonesboro, Mary B. (Steve) Cowart of Oxford, Samuel L. (Vicky) Batten of Stockbridge; sister, Helen N. Stallings of Griffin; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends from 10 AM – 11 AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park.
