Anne Blake DiGiacomo, 76, of Monclova, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025.

Anne was born on September 1, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Raymond and Theresa Blake. She grew up in Springfield, Pennsylvania, alongside her siblings Jeannie, Lute, Peggy, and her twin brother Jimmy. She graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School, and shortly after, married the love of her life, Frank DiGiacomo. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage and built a family filled with love and laughter, raising three children—John, Julie, and Jim.

Anne’s deep Catholic faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She prayed daily, drawing strength and comfort from her devotion, and her faith gave her peace in both life’s joys and challenges.

Nearly twenty years ago, Anne received the gift of life through a kidney donation from her nephew Jeff. That extraordinary act of love gave Anne and her family many more wonderful years together—memories filled with laughter, celebrations, and everyday joys for which her family will be forever grateful.

Anne will be remembered for her warm smile, sense of humor, ability to laugh at herself in any situation, and her strength. She had a gift for conversation and could connect with just about anyone. Above all, she treasured time with her family and friends. She always enjoyed her sweets, especially when sharing them with her grandkids, to whom she was lovingly known as “Seesa”. She loved crafting, baking, playing word games, and playing bridge and pinochle with her friends, but her happiest moments were family gatherings—especially the holidays and summer vacations at the Jersey Shore, where her family gathered annually for over 50 years, making countless memories.

Anne is survived by her loving husband Frank; her children John DiGiacomo, Julie (Isaac) Matthews, and Jim (Kristy) DiGiacomo; and her beloved grandchildren Jacob Matthews, Frankie Matthews, Ryan Matthews, Joseph DiGiacomo, Riley DiGiacomo, Gianna Matthews, and Blake DiGiacomo. She is also survived by her sisters Lute (Ted) Lewandowski, Peggy (Ed) Middaugh, her brother Jim (Chris) Blake and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jeannie.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hope Lodge in Cleveland, Ohio, in Anne’s memory. https://raiseyourway.donordrive.com/pages/1234
