Anne Michele Gross

Anne Michele Gross Passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2025.

Anne Michele Wieseler was born October 1,1967 in Rapid City, SD, to Mark and Lilla A. Wieseler.

After living in Spearfish and Bell Fouche, SD her family moved to Sioux Falls where Anne attended Longfellow Elementary School, Patrick Henry Junior High, and Graduated from Sioux Falls Washington high School. Anne work always involved helping others she worked at LifeScape Children’s Services for 30 years. In 2018 Anne moved to Chapel Hill, NC to be closer to family where she worked at UNC Hospital for five years.

Anne was an animal lover and always had a pet or pets She loved to post pictures of her cats. Anne liked live music festivals and performances. She enjoyed the beaches and waterfronts of the Carolinas. Anne was fun to talk to and often you would lose track of time because it was hard to finish a conversation with her.

Anne was preceded in death by her father, Mark Bernard Wieseler. She is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Lilla Wieseler of Little River, SC; her sister, Tammy Meath and her husband Todd of Chapel Hill, NC; her brother, Mark Wieseler and his wife, Sandra, of Omaha, NE; her sister, Katie Cunningham and her husband, Jamie, of Calabash, NC; her nephew, Michael Meath and his wife, Nikki, of Sago, MN; and her niece, Alexa Cunningham. 

A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at a later date.
