Friends and family are welcome to attend the wakes at Wantagh Abbey Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Friday, September 7 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral Service, officiated by Father John Denniston, will be Saturday, September 8 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances de Chantal, 1309 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, New York, 11793.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in Anne Marie s name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Patrick, I am so deeply sorry as we just now (Sunday) learned of your loss. Anne Marie was my most special cousin. Though we were exactly six years apart, she was always like a little sister to me at the many holiday dinners we shared as kids, about which we always remenised on email at holiday time. As Gerard Vincient Shields' godson we had a special connection. My heart goes out to you at the loss of your wonderful wife of so many years. We will keep you, Anne Marie and your family in our prayers.
