Mrs. Mitch Stegall, age 80, wife of Tom Stegall, and a resident of Columbia Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center..
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2025 from 5-6PM followed by a memorial service at 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 26, 1945, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Mitch was the daughter of the late Marshall Pennington and Tamar Durham Pennington. She attended Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Mitch married the love of her life and best friend, Tom Stegall and together they celebrated sixty years of marriage She was an avid UT sports fan, especially women’s basketball. An avid reader, her favorite author was John Grisham. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be tremendously missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Stegall, son, Josh (Ashleigh) Stegall, daughter, Traci (Brian) Cook, sister, Kay Ivey, grandchildren, Cameron Webb (Ashlyn), Ella Stegall, Jackson Stegall (Aurelia), Anne Stegall, great granddaughter, Sarah Mae Webb, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
