Jennifer Anne Martin Sharp, 62, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 16, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Wrigley Cemetery in Hickman County, TN. The family will visit with friends Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

Jennifer was born on April 18, 1963 in Columbia, TN to the late Lewis Penelton “Buddy” Martin and the late Lois Laverne Parker Martin. She graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1981 and from Columbia State Community College in 1984 with an Associate degree. Jennifer was retired from the State of Tennessee as a tax relief analyst. She had a deep love and appreciation for music, family and friends.

Survivors include her husband James David Sharp whom she married on May 21, 2016; two step sons, Reese Sharp and Brandon Sharp; sister-in-law Lisa (Thomas) Benchic; several cousins including Annette Yates, Statia Noles, Tabby DeHaven, Vickie Rhoder, Angie Jackson, Mitzy Griffin, Laquilla Hogan, Sue and Brenda; and many friends.

Pallbearers will be employees of Southern Sun Paving Company, Christopher Shane Roberts, and Casey Ryan Roberts.
