Anne Lynn Trafford, 79, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, in her lifelong hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Born on June 11, 1945, in Lake Charles, she was the cherished daughter of F. C. and Joyce (Dautel) Gauthreaux.
A proud graduate of LaGrange High School in Lake Charles, Anne was known for her athleticism and vibrant spirit. She shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Allan Trafford, with whom she built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
Anne's passion for life was evident in her enjoyment of golf and gardening, activities that she pursued with great enthusiasm and skill. Above all, Anne was a selfless and giving soul, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent spoiling them.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her husband, Allan; sons, Butch Trafford and Paul Trafford (Robin); siblings, Charles Gauthreaux (Beverly), Kevin Gauthreaux (Tammie), Susie Floyd, and Joycelynn Milford; grandchildren, Sophia Carter (Logan), Sterling Trafford, Grant Trafford (Cassidy), and Gavin Trafford; and great-grandson, Greyson Carter.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on the evening of Sunday, December 8, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Chapel. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
