Anne Marie “Ann” Webb, 88, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Ann was born on May 23, 1937 in New York, New York to Robert Leo Frankenberry and Mary Catherine O’Flaherty. She married the love of her life, Donald Eldred Webb, on June 28, 1959 at St. George’s Church in Shrub Oak, New York. Together they shared 56 years of marriage, raising a large and loving family.
A lifelong Catholic, Ann attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and Our Lady of Counsel School in New York City. She graduated from St. John’s Catholic High School in White Plains, NY, followed by Ladycliff College in Highland Falls, NY. She later continued her education, earning her master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Ann devoted her life to education, teaching at St. Anastasia Catholic School and within the St. Lucie County School District. Her influence as a teacher, mentor, and advocate for children touched generations of students and families.
She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, where she worshipped faithfully. Ann was also a dedicated volunteer with St. Mark’s Thrift Shop from its founding, serving her parish and community with joy and generosity.
Ann leaves behind a large family grateful for her love, wisdom, humor, and unwavering belief in them. Survivors include her siblings, Robert Frankenberry (Barbara) of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Elizabeth Flannery of Shrub Oak, New York; lifelong friend Joan Orlic (Velko) of White City, Florida; and her children: Josephine Frances Forrester (Scott) of Fort Pierce, Florida; John Daniel Webb (Elizabeth) of Jacksonville, Florida; Cornelia Ann Monroe of Los Angeles, California; Margaret Geneva Moral (Shawn) of Fort Pierce, Florida; Terrence Xavier Webb of Houston, Texas; and Deirdre Ann Webb of Gainesville, Florida.
She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and the loving aunt to a countless number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and first and second cousins.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; her parents; her daughter, Mary Catherine Shelley (Guy); granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Webb; and her brothers Joseph, Cornelius, Johnny, and Danny, and her sister Marie.
Ann’s greatest joys in life were her faith, her family, and her friendships. She believed in the power of prayer, the importance of community, and the responsibility we all have to help one another. Her door was always open to anyone in need.
