Annette Arnold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home - Worthington on Dec. 16, 2025.
Annette Yvonne (Zak) Arnold, age 67, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on December 13 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, Annette lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Alongside her beloved husband, Scott, Annette dedicated over 45 years to ministry through Dwell Community Church and through their service in Central Ohio Youth for Christ. Annette poured her heart into serving young people and families. Together, Annette and Scott answered God's call, offering guidance, encouragement, and the love of Christ to countless lives.

Annette's gentle spirit, listening ear, and servant's heart reflected Jesus in all she did. Having first received Christ's forgiveness herself, Annette allowed that grace to shape every aspect of her life as she lovingly served others. Annette was known for her deep love for family, her generous hospitality, and her steadfast prayer life. She found great joy in nurturing relationships, mentoring others, and quietly meeting the needs of those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband Scott Arnold; her two daughters, Samantha (Colton, Ava) Saunders and Vanessa Arnold; her 3 sons, she lovingly raised as her own: Hershil (Shirley) Daniels, Timothy "T.J. (Annie) Young and Adam "Junior" Gilmore. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life, confident that Annette has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). Her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Annette's life will be held on Saturday, December 20th at the City Life Center in Franklinton (40 N. Chicago Ave.), where family and friends will gather to honor her life and her devotion to Christ. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, with a celebration service from 11:00-12:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Annette's memory to Youth for Christ at https://coyfc.org
