I will always remember Annette“s dedication and commitment to her students. This phenomenal woman always made me laugh every time she called me "boo". She was my school mentor in the UM- Flint Education Specialist program, as she was working on her Doctorate in Education. She showed up to support her students in extracurricular activities, while being a caretaker for her partner.
I am praying for her family, friends, Hamady Hawk family, and all of her loved ones. I know she has her angel wings (R.I.H.), but she will definitely be missed. God bless you all.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I am a staff member at Hamady High School. While I didn't know her that well, I know that her students and peers respected and loved her. She will be missed.
