I will always remember Annette´s dedication and commitment to her students. This phenomenal woman always made me laugh every time she called me "boo". She was my school mentor in the UM- Flint Education Specialist program, as she was working on her Doctorate in Education. She showed up to support her students in extracurricular activities, while being a caretaker for her partner.
I am praying for her family, friends, Hamady Hawk family, and all of her loved ones. I know she has her angel wings (R.I.H.), but she will definitely be missed. God bless you all.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I am a staff member at Hamady High School. While I didn't know her that well, I know that her students and peers respected and loved her. She will be missed.
