Annette Yvonne De Leon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, was born on January 31, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away peacefully in Denver on November 3, 2025, at the age of 63.
Annette was the cherished daughter of Willie Nicholas Martinez and Teresa Martinez. She shared 25 wonderful years with her devoted husband, Anthony De Leon. Together, they built a beautiful blended family filled with love and laughter, raising five children: Edward (Eddie), Anthony, Jovette (Mark), Nicholas, and Donovan.
Annette’s pride and joy were her grandchildren — Jaylynn, Jaslynn, Journey, Darlene, Josielyn, and Kayden — with a seventh grandchild on the way whom she was joyfully anticipating but sadly did not get to meet. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved spending time with them more than anything.
Annette was deeply proud of both her Martinez and De Leon families. She cherished her brothers, sisters, in-laws, and extended family, always making everyone feel loved and valued. Annette had a special bond with her many nieces and nephews — she treated each one as if they were her own, offering them endless love, support, and encouragement. Her warmth, laughter, and nurturing spirit made her a constant source of comfort and joy in their lives.
She also had a passion for music and dancing, which brought her and those around her great happiness.
Annette Yvonne De Leon will be forever missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
Please join us to celebrate Annette’s life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church in Denver. A rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A family gathering will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
