Annette Ray, age 82, of Pikeville, KY. passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center.  She was born on December 3, 1942, the daughter of the late Mitchell and Margaret Combs Allen. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ray, by a son Michael Westervelt and by a sister, Joyce Brock.

Before her retirement, Annette worked as an LPN for Pikeville Medical Center and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Ryan Ray and Richard Ray, by a daughter, Lisa Ratliff, by two brothers, Ronald Allen and Yvon Allen, by two sisters, Ann Combs and Blanda Kay Crowe, by seven grandchildren, Karson Ray, Ramsey Ray, Kiley Ray, Cassidy Ray, Keshia Edmonds, Tyler Ray and Corey Ratliff, by five great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends who will miss her and loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, after 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Frankie Bryant officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.

Special services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 PM.
