Annette Lois Stone, age 78, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, sister-in-law, Aunt; and will be greatly missed.
Annette was a dedicated educator who taught school in Illinois and Texas, teaching Language Arts, English and reading.
Annette was a world traveler, including backpacking through the foothills of the Himalayas, across Europe and visiting Australia, an avid reader, certified scuba diver, card maker and loved to play Scrabble. Purple was her favorite color. She loved animals, especially elephants, dogs and cats. She had an extensive collection of elephant figurines and artwork. She lived in several places before settling in El Paso, Texas. Her life began in London, England, where she was born. She lived in several places including Chicago, Illinois and the U.S. Virgin Islands prior to relocating to El Paso, Texas.
Annette is preceded in death by her parents; Norman F. Stone and Helen Majin. She is survived by her brother; Roy Allan Stone, her sister-in-law Lisa Marie Gentile and her nieces Kelly Taryn Stone and Lisa Renee Stone. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Temple Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
