It is with heavy hearts, but deep gratitude for a life full of love, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Annie Rose (Prusner) Carroll, age 86. She left this world peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, surrounded by the same love she spent her life so generously giving.

Born on October 22, 1939, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Tyrone and Thelma Prusner, she grew up with a strong sense of family and a deep commitment to serving others-values that guided her throughout her life. Her warm Southern accent and gracious manner were part of her charm, making everyone who met her feel instantly welcomed.

In her early years, she proudly served her country as a Medic in the Women's Army Corps (WAC). During her service, she met and married fellow Army medic, Roger Henry Carroll. They shared immense pride in their military service and passed their tradition of service to country on to their children.

In addition to her military service, Rose spent 20 years at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge as Unit Secretary, where she formed lifelong friendships.

Above all else, Mom was devoted to her family. She was the center of countless gatherings, the keeper of traditions, and a steady source of joy and comfort. Her unconditional and steadfast love was a cherished gift to every child, grandchild, great-grandchild, family member, and friend fortunate enough to know her.

She took tremendous pride in her family and never missed an opportunity to boast about her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Their accomplishments, big or small, were her greatest joy, and celebrating their lives brought her some of her happiest moments.

She delighted in simple joys: sharing family stories, enjoying a good meal, going on travel adventures with those she loved, and offering hugs and encouraging words. She loved togetherness and was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her "I love yous," her laugh, her guidance, and her remarkable ability to make all feel loved and special will be missed more than words can express.

Mom is survived by her sister Janice Stewart; brother William Prusner; sons David (Cassie) and Roger, or as she called him, "Billy" (Dawn); daughter Donna Carroll Fowler (Eric); grandchildren Kimberly (Melissa), Jennifer (Paul), Katie, Daniel (Kaylee), and Jason; and great-grandchildren Summer, Kinsley, and Luke. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger Carroll, and her beloved great-granddaughter Kristina.
The family takes comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who passed before her, and that her legacy of devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
