He was born on March 7, 1944, in Egypt to Ralph and Cordia (Parker) Jones - the small town where his roots ran deep and where he learned the value of hard work, family, and faith.Terry spent his early years farming the land he loved, surrounded by the familiar fields and faces of his hometown. It was there he met Charlotte Meador, the woman who would become his wife and lifelong friend. Together, they built a family and raised two beautiful children, Rhonda and Bryan, who were the light of his life.Later, Terry's sense of adventure took him to the waters of the Mississippi River, where he worked as a riverboat engineer alongside his brother Danny. Life on the river gave him stories to tell and memories that he carried proudly. Eventually, he returned to land and joined his brother Jerry in construction, where his strength, steady hands, and good-natured humor left a mark on everyone who worked beside him.He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Cordia Jones; his beloved children, Rhonda Jones Tyler and Bryan Jones; and his brothers Billy L. Jones, Bobby J. Jones, Jerry G. Jones, Dale D. Jones, and Jimmy Jones.Terry's memory will live on through those who loved him dearly - his former wife and lifelong friend, Charlotte Meador Jones; his brother, Danny Jones; his granddaughter, Brianna Tyler Park; his great grandson, Wesley Park; his sister-in-law, Karen Meador Culberson; his nephews, Colt and Seth Schisler; and a host of other family members and friends who will never forget his laughter, his stories, and his steadfast love.In accordance with his wishes, Terry will be cremated, and his ashes will be laid to rest among the graves of his children - reunited with them in peace. He was a proud son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. But above all, Terry was love - love for his family and love for the simple joys that made his life full.May he rest easy, knowing he is deeply missed and forever remembered
