Annie Ruth Cruz (nee Amos) was entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2025 at the age of 96 years old. She was born on November 29, 1928 in Andalusia, Alabama to Mary Bell Amos Jarrett (nee Marshall) and Robert Clemons Amos.
She is survived by her eldest daughter Sofia Cruz (Stephen Notaro) and Nelida Cruz. She is also survived by her 1 sister, Molly Claxton Johnson (Moses).
She was predeceased by her husband Carlos Evangelista Segarra Cruz, her sister Emma Rollison and her 3 brothers, Robert Amos, Jack (Dean) Amos and Archie(Cherry) Amos.
She has 6 grandchildren, Tatjana (deceased), Aja, Jordan, Jazon, Jakob and Erik. She has 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In her early career Annie was a nursing assistant At Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY and later a home care aide for the elderly.
Before residing in Buffalo, Annie previously lived in Pittsburgh, PA and the Massillon, OH. Annie had a love of travel and attended many of the cultural events in and around the Buffalo area.
