Of Cheektowaga, entered into rest November 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late George C., Jr.; devoted mother of Amy (Ted) Washburn and George (Dina) Dovey; cherished Nonni of Anna Dovey, Ella Dovey, and Caroline Washburn; dear sister of the late Pat Syracuse and Carmela Syracuse; loving daughter of the late Louis Syracuse and Frances (nee Tosto) Syracuse; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Friday from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew's, 34 Francis Ave., Sloan, on Saturday morning at 9:30 (please assemble at church.) Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Dovey was a retired teacher of the Cheektowaga Central School District. Condolences may be made at lombardofuneralhome.com.

I know George since I was 16 yrs old which goes back a really long time. A very happy day when George and Marie married. They were are very special couple to our family. (Muscarella). May Marie rest in peace.
