Annie Ruth Hamilton, 79, widow of Claude E. Hamilton, passed at her home, 260 Hales Drive, Anderson, SC, on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Annie was born in Anderson and was the daughter of Charlie Mance, Sr., and Allean Campbell Mance. She was a retired school bus monitor from Anderson School District Five. Annie was a member of Zion Apostolic Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and three brothers, Charles, Jimmy, and David Mance; one nephew, Lonnie Mance.

Annie leaves to cherish fond memories, one son, Claude Lamond Hamilton, Greenville, SC; three daughters, Mona Lisa Hamilton, Greer, SC; Beverly (Colicus) Allen, Anderson, SC and Wanda Hamilton Robinson, Greer, SC; six grandchildren, Jarred (Jillian), Aaron (Brittany) and Trey Clinkscales; Camille Allen, Deondria (Paul) Pickens and Marsailes (Cathy) Allen; eleven great-grandchildren, Arianna, Immanuel and Immani Pickens; Jackson, Kinsley, Melanie and Clinton Allen; Yasmine, Jordyn, Madison, and Kaitlin Robinson; five sisters, Shirley Mance of Atlanta, GA: Gloria (Harold) Bauknight, Carolyn Clinkscales, Brenda (Andrew) Slaughter and Judy (David) Hagood, all of Anderson, SC and five brothers, Timothy Mance, of Columbia, SC; Johnny (Frances) Mance, Michael (Carol) Mance, Stephon Mance and Tracey (Johnnie) Mance, all of Anderson, SC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The funeral service is 1:00 pm Sunday at Zion Apostolic Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing is Saturday from 2 – 6 pm at D. B. Walker Funeral Services, and the body will be placed in the church Sunday at noon.

The family is at their home, 260 Hales Drive, Anderson, SC.
