Mrs. Annie Mack Millender

Sis. Annie Mack Millender was born February 23, 1935, to the late Mack and Annie McQuieter, in Monroeville, AL. She entered eternal rest on March 19, 2024, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.
She became a resident of Moss Point, MS at the age of eighteen with her late husband, Elijah Millender. She united with Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. James Magee, Jr., where she served on the Women's Mission Board and was a member of the Senior Choir.
She later became a member of New Life Church Moss Point MS under the leadership of Rev. Lavoy Hart, now under the new leadership of Rev. Rick Hart. She loved the members of her church and they loved her as well. She was a praying woman, one who would stop mid-sentence and pray. The love she had for God spewed onto everyone she encountered.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Annie McQuieter; her sisters, Sellerstine Lindsey, Dorothy Hunter, and Odessa Chapman; her brothers, I D McQuieter, J B McQuieter, and Sammie Lee McQuieter; her daughters, Bessie Mae Finley and Latrisa Millender; her son Michael Millender; her granddaughter Tewana Finley, and her grandson Tony Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Beverly Reid of Moss Point, MS; five sons, Tony (Marjorie) Millender, of Houston, TX, Preston (Flor) Millender of Ocean Springs, MS, Judge Millender of Norfolk, VA, Willie Millender of Houston, TX, and Dedrick (Sameka) Millender of Gulfport, MS; sisters, Melba McQueen of Memphis, TN and Annie Blackwell of Pensacola, MS; twenty grandchildren, Marcus Millender of Houston, TX, Valencia Smith of Atlanta, GA, SheTara Millender of Moss Point, MS, Angela Finley of Ocean Springs, MS, Lisa Millender of Moss Point, MS, Justin Finley of Moss Point, MS,
Elizabeth Finley of Mobile, AL, Jimmy Finley of Moss Point, MS, Venson Finley (Elouise) of New Orleans LA, John Finley of New Orleans LA, Tonia and Elijah Millender of Houston TX, Nicole Pope, Cynthia Pope, Bianca Pope, and Tiara Millender of Houston TX, Ebony Millender, Pearl Dela Paz, Prince Millender, and Isaiah Millender of Ocean Springs MS, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
