Mr. Donald Fountain

Mr. Donald Fountain, 75, was born July 20, 1950, to the best parents anyone could be blessed with, the late Mr. and Mrs. Lieutenant (Aretha) Fountain, Sr. Donald was the fourth child of nine. He transitioned on November 28, 2025, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Donald was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church. He served as an usher, worked with the culinary department and was the custodian for the church.

Donald's education began at Ms. Liza Robinson's kindergarten, then Magnolia Elementary, Magnolia Junior High and he graduated with Magnolia High School, class of 1968.

His work history includes International Paper Company, Ingall's Shipbuilding, Omega Protein, the Truck Stop, and other local eateries. He most recently was employed as custodian at First Missionary Baptist Church, in Moss Point, Mississippi, until his untimely death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lieutenant (Aretha) Fountain, Sr.; sister, Iris Patrece Fountain; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. (Georgiana) Fountain, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Q. (Neadie) Lett; one niece; one nephew; and two great nephews.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories. sons, Donald (Shikiki) Williams of Laurel, Mississippi and Luis (Tara) Williams of Covington, GA; brothers, Johnny Mack (Velma) Fountain of New Orleans, LA, William "Bill" (Daniyell) Fountain of Cleveland, OH, Lieutenant (Gwendolyn) Fountain, Jr., of Ocean Springs, MS, Samuel (Cora Duncan) Fountain of Spring, TX and James (Sheila) Fountain of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Eula Pearl Fountain Bowens and Esther Fountain Carmicheal, both of Moss Point, MS; aunt, Betty Ruth Fountain of Cleveland, OH; uncle, James (Mary) Fountain of Cleveland, OH; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, devoted friends, Maggie Bardwell, Bobby (Vivian) Wesley, Ramone (Khalilah) Stallworth, Charles "Buster" Richardson, Jackie Hardy, Willie (Patricia) Chestang, Jr., and Clinton Nelson, dear friend and mother of his sons, Sunday Williams Brown, other friends, and of course, his classmates of Magnolia High School class of 1968.
