Annie Morgan

Annie Louise Morgan was born on March 25, 1961, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, she passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, at the age of 64. A devoted Minister and Homemaker, Annie devoted her life to raising her family and spreading the ministry to those around her.

Annie was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience. Her loving spirit and positive attitude towards life were evident in everything she did. She was known for her hard-working nature and was always supportive and helpful to those in need. Annie's kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she was loved by many.

Her interests were as diverse as they were endearing. Annie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing and baking pies, and she also had a unique sense of humor that often included playfully slapping her son's on the back of the head. Her laughter and light-heartedness brought joy to her family and friends.

Annie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thurman Morgan Jr., and her son, Zechariah "Zack" Flanagan. She is survived by her sons: Duane Bell (wife Amy), Antione Flanagan (wife Tammie), Samuel Flanagan, Peter Flanagan, Joshua Dorsey, John Flanagan, Daniel Flanagan, and David Morgan (wife Jada); her daughters: Sarah Jefferson (husband David), Rebecca Flanagan, Daborah Morgan, and Melissa Morgan.

Annie also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor her legacy.

Annie Louise Morgan's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and perseverance. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation prior to the service from 12:00 am to 1:00 pm. Following the service, Annie will be laid to rest at Georgetown Memorial Park.
