Annie Turner Obituary
Annie Maddox Turner, age 81, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home in Morganton, GA.
Annie was born April 18, 1944, in Lawrenceville, GA to Thomas and Irene Maddox. Annie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Maddox; mother, Irene Maddox; siblings, Robia Haney, Genena Maddox, Oby Maddox, J.D. Maddox, Fairy Johnston, and twin brother Douglas Maddox.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Turner; sons, Wes (Julie) Turner and Jason (Gena) Turner; grandchildren, Erica (Lee) Sanders, Jesie (Joseph) Conn, Robert (Darla) Turner, Maddox Turner, and Baylee Turner; great-grandchildren, Beverly Sanders, Anabelle Sanders, Maverick Sanders, Daniella Conn, William Conn, Sylas Turner, and Scout Turner; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral Service, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Morganton, GA. with Minister Glen Cummings officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Maddox Turner, Robert Turner, Joseph Conn, Lee Sanders, Trey White, and Jerry Turner.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, GA.
The family will receive friends at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Morganton, GA. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM.
