She was born in Cuba, AL, on December 11, 1927. Annita graduated from Alabama Polytechnical Institute (now Auburn University) received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. She was married to Roy Mitchell Timberlake on March 4, 1949.
Annita had a career in Medical Technology at Jackson (AL) Memorial Hospital, Yerkes Laboratory of Primate Biology, St. Lukes Hospital, and Mayo Clinic. She had a passion for God, her family, life, medical technology, reading, and using her green thumb in her garden.
She was survived by her children Mitchell Timberlake, Annita Veydt, and Harris Timberlake; grandchildren Jenny Timberlake, Heather Timberlake, Reuben Timberlake, Rebecca Timberlake, Courtney Riner, Russell Timberlake, and Daniel Timberlake; great-grandchildren Cullen Herron, Sarah Cox, Rachael Cox Trosin, Isabelle Timberlake, Logan Timberlake, and Zannah Timberlake.
To honor Annita a private family service will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
