Anthonette Rose "Toni" Herr, age 71, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, April 12th, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 24th, 1953. Toni was a beloved sister, stepmother, aunt, wife, and true friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She stayed in close contact with her cousins in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Colorado.
She is survived by her brother, Stephen Herr; sister, Judy (Greg) Yust; brother in-law, Paul E. Albrecht; stepchildren, Bob "Bobby" Short, Debbie Hendricks, Tracy Short Bullerdick (Tim); nephews, Mark A. Albrecht, Paul L. Albrecht, Douglas M. Albrecht (Jill); niece, Katie Yust; great nephew, Bryan D. Albrecht (Lindsey), Noah I. Albrecht; great niece, Nichole L. Albrecht; great-great niece, Snow Albrecht; dog, Peyton Manning. Toni was preceded in death by her father, Anthony "Tony" Herr; mother, Katherine Sandfoss Herr; sisters, Carolyn Albrecht and Mary Jo Herr; ex-husbands, Steve Farris and Jack Short as well as stepchildren Kent and Theresa Short and her dog, Mugsy.
Toni was retired from Sony Records and was an active member of the Red Hat Society in Terre Haute. She also served as the former President of the Kingston Neighborhood Association.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield, Indiana on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation at Usher Funeral Home in Indianapolis on Friday, April 19th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:30 p.m., and at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
