Robert P. Herr, Jr., 65, of Willow Street, entered into rest Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Roslyn (Jean) Herr. He was the beloved husband of Terri (Hodgden) Herr for 45 years.

Bob worked for Playskool Toys and Sperry New Holland in his early years. For the past 35 years, he was employed by E.G. Stoltzfus Homes as a New Home Site Manager.
Bob was a 1979 Lampeter-Strasburg graduate where he excelled in track and soccer. He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies and Nascar. He also enjoyed watching western shows and other programs on endless repeat. Enjoyed sitting outside, smoking a cigar, drink in hand, music blaring and watching the grandchildren play with the neighboring children playing baseball or swimming. Bob was very active in attending whatever sporting event the grandchildren were involved in and sometimes giving unwanted criticism or advice.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his daughter, Alisa, wife of Luis Walters. Alisa was always his "baby girl", his 3 grandchildren: Chase, Hunter and Riley Walters. His grandchildren were his world, giving up other social events to spend time with them was always his priority and he was so proud of all 3 of them. Bob is also survived by his sister, Darlene (Herr) Matson of Clarion.

A viewing will take place from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder, III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Bob will be laid to rest at Conestoga Memorial Park.

Please dress casually, wear any Steelers, Phillies or Nascar clothing. Bob's wish was to have a big tailgating party and his family's hope is to be able to do that when the weather warms up.
