DEACON ANTHONEY EARL "SNEAK" PATTERSON

DEACON ANTHONEY EARL "SNEAK" PATTERSON, age 69, of 310 Center Street, Wrens, GA passed away on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at his residence. Family and friends may call at the funeral home. FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, WRENS in charge.

DEACON ANTHONEY EARL PATTERSON, was born on Wednesday, July 25, 1956, in Wrens, GA. Our dearly beloved Deacon Antoney passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Patterson and Ola Mae Jackson Patterson; six siblings, Della Mae Shipman, Bertha Mae Patterson, Arveania Patterson, John Patterson, Johnny Patterson, Sr. and John Judson Patterson.

Most everyone knew Anthoney as "Sneak." He attended the Jefferson County School System. Deacon Anthoney joined the Harts Grove Baptist Church of Stapleton, GA at an early age. He later became a member and a deacon while attending Thankful Baptist Church in Gibson, GA. During his working years, he was employed at Atwell Pecan Company in Wrens, GA for over 30 years as a Supervisor in the Shipping Department.

Deacon Anthoney enjoyed watching sports. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts Fan. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns, but most of all, he enjoyed hanging out with family members and friends. He will be missed from our daily lives as we continue to walk upon this earthly realm, but he will always be remembered with much love and a big smile.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: four daughters, Startasa Kelluem of Wrens, GA, Jessica Hannah, LaVacette Lockhart and La'Toria Vaughner, all of Augusta, GA; eight sons, Charlie (Tamara) Thomas of Marysville, WA, Domonic (Monica) Patterson, Jerel (Jayla) Patterson, both of Fort Knox, KY, Jermaul Patterson of Louisville, GA, Kristofer, Sr. (Tyesha) Beasley, Donnametrice Lockhart, both of Grovetown, GA, Tiwayne Brown, Sr. and Mario (Whitney) Maryland, both of Fort Knox, KY; seven grandchildren, Jer'Marion Kelluem, Diamonique Patterson, Zyona Patterson, Kayla Simms, Kahleel Thomas, Kendrick Thomas and Kristofer Beasley, Jr.; one sister, Annie (Marshall) Hannah of Wrens, GA; one brother, Glenn (Dorothy) Gaines of Wrens, GA; four devoted nieces and nephews, Karmon Shipman, Keshunga Miller, Tonya Stone and Lashunga Hannah; four devoted friends, Jaworski Lodge, Melvin McBride, Dimitria Corbitt and Patricia Martin; a multitude of other nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, other family members and additional friends and church members.
