Anthony Alton Albert Sr., of Christiansburg, Virginia, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on July 24, 1947, in Montgomery County, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia and Wallace Albert; his siblings, Donald Albert, Ronnie Albert, and Patricia Mann; and his nephew, Howie Albert. Anthony is survived by his devoted life partner, Melissa Carden; his children, Renay Albert, Peyton Albert, Anthony Albert Jr., Michael Albert, and Kim Toney; his aunt, Gladys Flinchum; grandchildren Ashley Albert, Kayla Albert, TJ Hamblin, Justin Albert, Josh Toney, Tyler Toney, and Corey Albert; great-grandchildren Bella Albert, Emersyn Albert, and Ryleigh Roberts; and his special nieces Teresa Mann-Keiter, Tessie Albert; and many other beloved nieces and nephews. He built a long career as an electrical contractor and was admired for his dedication to his work. He had a lifelong love of raising poultry and took great pleasure in woodworking. He was also a co-founder of Definitely Different. His commitment to family and his vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. The family extends heartfelt thanks to his son, Anthony Albert Jr., for his devoted care and support during Anthony Sr. 's final days. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, Virginia on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 6-8pm.
