Anthony Michael Ambrose, known as Tony to those who loved him, passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 46 after a courageous two-and-a-half year battle with brain cancer. He died at home, surrounded by his family. While the disease took his body, it never diminished his strength, will, or indomitable spirit.
Throughout his life, Tony embraced all that he did and lived life to its fullest. Tony had an impressive career in software sales where he excelled, frequently receiving top accolades; he always made time to mentor others.
His charisma and passion were contagious and he joyously cared for those around him. He was a grill master, gardener and cook and shared these talents by hosting countless get togethers. No matter the season or reason, he was always bringing people together and loved the buzz and commotion of these gatherings. He was brilliantly humorous, quick witted and never took himself too seriously. He was also gentle and very sentimental. Tony loved to travel, golf, and be active, but most of all he loved to spend time with family.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Jen; and their three children, Sydney, Sloane, and Hayden; as well as by his parents, Richard and Connie; and his sister, Kristin. Tony leaves behind a wide circle of friends and extended family who will forever remember his generous spirit and his zest for life.
A memorial service and celebration of Tony's life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Whether you knew him for a minute or a lifetime, you loved him. We will carry his memory and spirit forward in all of us.
