Dr. Tony Baxter was one of the first professors in my transition to a new field of study helping ease into computer graphics. His warm approachable kind personality is forever cherished. Years later was honored to have him in masters project defense, setting me off in my career. Surely he has made a big difference in many other student's lives. May he rest in peace.

Sad to note Tony Baxter's passing. Long fulfilled life that made a difference among students like me globally and leaves good memories. I had the highest regard for him as a professor, administrator and a cheerful person to be around with at University of Kentucky. Condolences to the family and all those grieving.

Dr Baxter served as my advisor during my Master's project at the University of Kentucky, Department of Computer Science. A gifted teacher who genuinely cared for his students. I distinctly remember his heart felt laughter and very encouraging demeanor, even though it is years since I graduated. RIP Dr. Baxter. Siva Ramamoorthy
