Anthony S. Blasco Sr.

Anthony S. Blasco, Sr., 87, of Wilson Boro passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at St. Luke's Anderson Campus. Born on January 26, 1938 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Antonio C. and Rose (Lutri) Blasco.

He graduated from Easton Area High School, class of 1956. During his high school days, he played football from 1953 until 1955. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church and the Bangor Elks Lodge. Anthony was an avid Eagles and NY Yankees fan. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting or fishing. He was a member of the Palmer Twp. Athletic Association and enjoyed coaching Palmer Twp. midget football.

Anthony was the former proprietor of Blasco Electric, Inc. for 18 years. He then became the proprietor for Avantis Italian Specialty Store and Lehigh Valley Catering for 30 years before retiring in 2008.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Rita Marie (Farley) Blasco, with whom he would have celebrated 67 years of marriage in October; sons, Dr. Anthony Blasco, Jr. and his wife, Shawn of Bethlehem, PA; James John Blasco and his wife, Nicole of Ormond Beach, FL; daughters, Judith Ann Blasco of Wilson Boro, PA; Linda Johnson and her husband, Robert of Forks Twp., PA; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Joseph, Jimmy John, Marco, Sofia, Olivia, Payton, Taylor, Devin, Austin, Mason; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Connor, Cayden, Jaxton, Jimmy John III, Wrenley, Slade, Xavier, and Wyatt.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by a son, Frank Blasco who died in infancy; sisters, Rose Callanan, Josephine Piro, Mary Ingraffea, Jenny Collina, Lena Arcury; brothers, Samuel, Pat and Joseph Blasco.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) An additional calling hour will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will follow in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family member of your choice and mailed to Morello Funeral Home, Inc.
