Anthony Francis Bova Parkville, Maryland March 3, 1937 – November 7, 2025
Anthony Francis Bova of Parkville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025.
He was the loving husband of Kathy M. Bova, devoted father to Nicholas Bova and Martin Bova, cherished grandfather to Nicholas Anthony Bova, Chelsea Bova, and Nolan Bova, and proud great-grandfather to Nicholas Anthony Bova II, Elliott Martin Bova, and Adeline Marie Bova.
Anthony had a deep devotion to his Catholic faith and an unwavering love for his family. He made every Christmas season memorable with his joy and enthusiasm. Known for his warm personality and sense of humor, he loved meeting people and always tried to bring a smile to their faces-never without a good joke to share.
Anthony served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier until his retirement. He also worked part-time as a real estate agent, continuing his passion for connecting with others.
In his earlier years, Anthony was active in the Parkville Recreation Council, coaching youth football and baseball for many seasons. Through these programs, he touched countless lives and made lifelong friends.
Anthony enjoyed watching football and boxing and treasured time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guido Michael Bova and Mary Agnes Bova, and his siblings Michael Bova, Joseph Bova, Dolores Shaffer, and Cecilia Weaver. He is survived by his sister Theresa Bova, along with many nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held with family, relatives and friends at a later date.
