Anthony Carrozzi Jr., 80, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 12 at 2:00 p.m.

Born on March 13, 1945, in Alliance, Ohio, he built a life marked by determination, creativity, and an enduring entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to building businesses and creating opportunities that reflected both his vision and hard work.

Anthony had a lifelong love of travel, both abroad and across the United States, and he delighted in the outdoors - whether skiing, kayak fishing, or taking long drives in his Ferrari. Having lived in Chicago before settling in Venice, he also cherished life's simple pleasures: walking down to a small community beach in Sarasota with his dog and watching the sun set over the water. He enjoyed the comfort of favorite foods such as tomato juice with salt, gnocchi, jalapeño sandwiches, and garnachas. He also took great interest in his ancestry, reconnecting with long-lost relatives and sharing stories that kept family history alive.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren, who will carry forward his memory.

Those who knew him - whether in business, in friendship, or as family near or far - are warmly invited to share their condolences, memories, and kind words in this online obituary page.

He will be remembered for his generosity, love, independent spirit, and the legacy of giving he provided to his loved ones.
