Anthony Z Carson

We are gathered here today to say goodbye to a father, brother, friend, grandpa, a man who

touched so many lives with love and kindness with profound sadness, the family of Anthony

Zachariah Carson, otherwise known as Orent, Tony, pap pap announces his passing on

07/15/2025 at the age of 62.

Anthony was born on 06/23/1963 in the parish of St.Thomas in Jamaica, to parents Clarence

Carson and Vaslyn Anderso. He grew up in a small community known as Middleton Rd in the

Soho district of St.Thomas. Anthony attended Middleton primary and further his studies at the

Seaforth high school. After his school years, he seeked employment at Serge Island Downies

limited as an Herdsman. Anthony spent several years at this place of employment after which

he migrated to the United States to the state of Minnesota where he continued his employment

as an Herdsman. A few years later, Tony relocated to NY where he pursued employment at

Time Warner now known as spectrum.

In the year of 1993, Anthony vowed love to his late wife Mallinette Carson. There was no

offspring out of this holy matrimony. When not working or spending time with loved ones,

Anthony left behind children Kadiann born to mother Sharon McDermott, After which came

Dwight, Nicole, and Lemar born to mother Lorraine Wynter. Grandchildren Dwight jr, Aaron,

Arihanna,Tajuan, Tajah,Amilia and Liam. Tony is survived by siblings Ann-Marie, Marcia, Trevor,

Richard, Dorothy, Sharon, Lavern, Millicient and Maxie. We are so grateful for the love and joy

brought to our lives Tony. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten as Maya Angelou

said, A brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. Anthony

faced his life's challenges with bravery and we will carry that strength with us.
