Anthony George Caulton, beloved son, nephew, brother, uncle and cousin, entered this world on Sunday, March 11, 1962, in Springfield, Massachusetts, as the second son of George Warren Caulton and Barbara Elizabeth Caulton. He passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at UMASS Memorial Medical in Worcester, Massachusetts, after a courageous year-long battle with illness.
From a young age, Anthony exhibited a remarkable talent for the arts. His creativity flourished through visual arts-painting, sketching, and sculpture-as well as music, where he honed his skills with formal classical piano lessons. Anthony found joy in listening to a wide array of music, often immersing himself in the sounds of Fleetwood Mac, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many other genres, analyzing their deeper meanings with insight and passion.
In his youth, Anthony was dedicated to gymnastics, where he developed impressive strength and stamina, mastering advanced skills with grace and determination. He even ventured into stand-up comedy under the stage name "MT Pockets," where his quick wit and infectious laughter resonated with audiences, showcasing his ability to find humor in everyday life.
Anthony had a profound love for animals, caring for numerous pets throughout his life, reflecting his compassionate nature.
His education took him through John F. Kennedy Junior High School, Classical High School, and Wilbraham and Monson Academy, where he made lasting memories and connections with staff and classmates.
Anthony is predeceased by his father, George Caulton, and mother, Barbara Caulton. He leaves behind his brother Warren Caulton, sister Heather Caulton, sister-in-law Kathy Caulton, niece Anne St. Denis (née Caulton), nephew William St. Denis, and great-nephew William Caulton St. Denis. His spirit will be dearly missed by family and friends who cherish the memories of his wit and creativity.
A private, family celebration of Anthony's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Central Kitchen, Attn. Donor Services Team, PO Box 96538, Washington, DC 20090-6538 or online at www.wck.org or to the charity of one's choice.
