Our hearts are broken as we share the passing of Anthony E. Charlet, who left us unexpectedly on September 29, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio at the young age of 29. Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 28, 1995, Anthony was the beloved son of the late Martine Charlet and Junior Justin.
Anthony's presence could light up any room. He had a kind heart, a warm smile, and a love for family that ran deep. To know him was to be touched by his generous spirit, his laughter, and his ability to make others feel seen and loved.
He leaves behind his devoted fiancée, Lashai Jackson, and his beautiful daughter, Aubree Charlet, who was his greatest joy and motivation in life. He is also survived by his father, Junior Justin, and stepmother Glenna "Peaches" Justin, brothers, Junovah and Jahsiah Justin, sisters, Tyrah and Tatyanah McMillan and Juniyah Justin and his loving grandmother's, Marie Telus and Marie Charlet., grandfather, Monte Christo Telus Sr.; uncles Pierre DuPoux Monte Christo Telus Jr. (Vanessa), Michel Christ Telus (Toanna). Emmanuel Junior Charlet; aunts, Mary Sandra Telus, Analiyah Levi, Wallna Gustin, Jessica Cookie Ryles (Antwan); cousins, Marcia, Pierre Jr., Esther, Rosie, Roselor Laika, Emariel, Samaria, Prince, Mael, Yahravah, Malachia, Ayame, Monte Christo III, Micah, Elijah, Avery, Gia, Amelia, Talia, Jace, Analiyah. Anthony is also remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martine Charlet.
Anthony held many titles in his short but meaningful life, son, father, fiancé, brother and friend and he lived each role with love and dedication. He made his family proud when he joined the marines. He was an amazing father, a loyal friend, and a man with a loving spirit that will forever be remembered.
Though his life was cut short, the impact he made will never fade. His memory will continue to inspire us, reminding us to love deeply, live fully and carry forward his legacy of compassion and strength.
May his memory be a blessing, and may we find comfort in knowing that his beautiful spirit will live on through the lives he touched, especially through his precious daughter Aubree.
Forever in our hearts, Anthony. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Your light will never fade.
