Anthony Chiefari Obituary
On Tuesday August 13, 2024, Dr. Anthony J Chiefari passed away at the age of 77.
Born in Troy, NY, Dr. Chiefari was the son of the late Peter J. and Lucy Mirco Chiefari and husband of Anne Aldrich Chiefari. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Amy.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his brother BG Peter A. Chiefari of Dunedin, Fl and Dr. Donna Chiefari of Clifton Park, NY.
Anthony was an accomplished medical professional, holding a Bachelors degree in Science (Microbiology) and both a Bachelors and Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. In his professional career, he held acute care clinical and management positions at UPenn, UMaryland and Hahnemann University centers as well as being an educator at Drexel. Most recently he was a pharmaceutical Consultant.
He was a lifelong learner and could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed traveling, the beach and had a special place in his heart for animals of all kinds.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 9am to 10:15am at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Township, NJ 08080. Funeral Mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church located in Sewell, NJ at 11:00am. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery in Newfield, New Jersey.
