Anthony Collins Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, David J. and Martha B Collins; grandparents, Nannie and Fred Kidd and Jerry and Leota Collins.
He is survived by his children, Christina and Joshua Hancock, Jessica Collins, Anthony D. Collins Jr. and fiancŽ Brooke Hall; seven grandchildren; and sister, Edwina Nelson and husband Tim.
The family received friends on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 from 3-4 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home. The funeral service began at 4 p.m. with Bro. Charles Webb officiating. Internment followed in Lane Cemetery in Lancing.

I don't remember seeing Mr.Collins until about halfway into my[our]Senior year.He was so easygoing ,he started calling me by my nickname.I know he played Football that year,and they didn't win many games.That's life.The experience is what counts,though.If only I would have known him a couple of years earlier......Iknow he spoke to me,at the Junior-senior Prom that Spring.Anytime you do your Best in Life,just like Football,you have no regrets.A life well lived.
