Anthony Wayne "Tony" Courtney, age 67, passed away on December 17, 2025. Tony was born on November 13, 1958, in Mabelvale, Arkansas, and left this world peacefully at his home in Hot Springs.

Tony was a retired Master Electrician and a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to countless people.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Courtney; his brother, Kevin Courtney; and his grandson, Saul Billingsley.

He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Oglesby (Tyler); his son, Jacob Billingsley (Lea); his son, Keenan Billingsley (Katie); his sister, Carmen Baugh; his sister, Rae Lynn Courtney; his mother, Bobbie Courtney; and his beloved grandchildren, Sage, Vaughn, Abe, Jack, Blake, and Charlie.

When he wasn't wiring pools, Tony could be found playing a game of pool (or twenty), listening to music in his shop, cruising the streets in his 1978 Corvette, grilling on the back deck, or relaxing on his party barge on the lake. Tony worked as an electrician for more than 40 years, building lasting relationships with customers and coworkers alike, and he took great pride in his work.

Tony was always the center and life of the party when gathered with friends and family. He had a gift for storytelling that never failed to entertain, and he was a great man and friend to all who knew him. His enormous personality was truly magnetic and brought together a wide circle of people who loved him dearly.

Above all, Tony loved his family deeply. His greatest joy was time spent with those he loved, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the stories that will continue to be told, and the love he freely gave.

Tony will be deeply missed and leaves behind a profound legacy that will never be forgotten by those fortunate enough to know and love him.

Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 23,2025 at 12:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
