Anthony "Tony" Joseph D'Iorio, 83, of Methuen, MA passed away on Thursday evening, September 21st, 2023.
Tony was born on January 19, 1940, to the late Amelia and Alfred D'Iorio. He was raised in Revere, MA and attended local schools.
He worked for 25 years and retired from U.S. Airways at Logan Airport. Tony was also a master tile setter at a very young age. He loved working with his uncles, and most of all, his brother, Al. Tony was loved by everyone for his comical stories and most of all, his voice. He could bring down the house singing Tony Bennett. He loved watching horse racing, the New England Patriots, and golf. He also was a member of the Elks lodge in Lawrence for 53 years.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Theresa M. (Leone) D'Iorio; his daughter Laurie Ann D'Iorio and her partner David Baldwin; his son, Tony Deloreto; his granddaughter, Monica Deloreto; his sisters, Mary Penney, Judy Orlandino, Jean Halpin, Donna Orlandino; sister-in-laws, Ann Justin and Sheryl DiEoreo; several nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved dog, Zoe.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Deborah Ann D'Iorio; and his brothers, Al DiEoreo and Joseph D'Iorio.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 11am at St. Monica's Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA 01844. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Debbie's Treasure Chest, 184 Pleasant Valley Street, Suite 2-201, Methuen, MA 01844.
