James Joseph D'Iorio, known to all as "Jim", passed away on May 11, 2025. Jim was born in White Plains, NY on February 24, 1961 to parents Salvatore and Margaret (nee Randazzo).
He attended Westlake High School before earning his Bachelor's degree at Pace University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Jim was a Certified Public Accountant, working early in his career for PricewaterhouseCoopers before becoming a tax professional at various companies including Xerox Corporation and, most recently, at IBM Corporation.
Jim was an avid golfer, a baseball aficionado and a car enthusiast. He loved spending time with family and friends and always had a kind word to say about almost everyone he met. He was happiest when surrounded by his extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, sharing stories of their childhood experiences and displaying his keen sense of humor.
Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Randy, his four children, Samantha Bauer (wife of Kenny Bauer), Danny, Nicole, and Michael, his three grandchildren, Aubree, Brooke, and Ryder James and also by his three siblings, Anthony (wife Cinzia), Dina Marie, and Donna Lynn (husband Dave).
Friends and family are welcome to gather for a visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.
