Robert John Taylor, aged 83, of Ocean Isle Beach and previously of Clinton and Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, in Bolivia, North Carolina. Born on November 15, 1941, in Queens, New York, Robert lived a life marked by dedication, love, and service.

He spent 39 remarkable years in Human Resources at AT&T, where his leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence left a lasting impact. Robert was a graduate of Pace University and proudly served as a National Guardsman for six years, demonstrating his steadfast loyalty and patriotism.

A man of many talents and interests, Robert found joy in tennis, golf, gardening, and carpentry. However, it was his family that truly held the center of his world. As a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he made it his mission to be present for every moment that mattered. He never missed his children's sporting events and was a constant source of support and encouragement. His hard work and dedication made him an exceptional provider and role model.

Robert was a devoted member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Shallotte, NC, where his faith guided him throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gloria Taylor.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Priscilla; his daughter, Kim, and her husband, Mike Rosenthal, of Bernardsville, NJ; his son, Rob Taylor, and his wife, Cindy Taylor, of Hickory, NC; and his adored grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Rosenthal. Robert's legacy of love, integrity, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew him.
